We started DROP Structures with the Mono – our platonic ideal of a space designed to offer shelter to dreams.

For us, it had everything we wanted, and nothing we didn’t. With full-front and rear glass, there was natural light from sunrise to sunset that lit up the interior for expansive, unforgettable views.

Aside from that, it was designed to be a sandbox – ready to take on any guise it needed to fit every purpose. And it was pretty good at filling a variety of needs. That first design has been used as artist’s studios, cabins, home offices and even living spaces.

But, as we’ve grown, clients have requested spaces that are more and more bespoke.

A lineup designed to fit your life

In response, we’ve broadened our lineup – first to accommodate those with less room, and then those who needed more.

Today, we feature 10 different models, accommodating everything from backyard home offices to off-grid glamping suites.

But, we haven’t stopped there. 

The truth is, most of our clients don’t want an off-the-shelf solution. The vast majority of people we speak with are looking for a unit designed to perfectly fit their needs, desires – their space. That’s why we’ve adjusted to offer a range of configurations that allow each client to completely customize their DROP Structure.

Let there be Light

Light is one of the defining characteristics of every DROP Structure. That full-front glass opens the interior and gives the whole structure an ethereal feel. But we know our clients often want to add lightness. They want the structure they see on our home page – nearly merging with the nature around it, suffused with nature, with light.

To make sure our clients have the chance to create that space of light they’re envisioning, we offer a number of configurations to open the interior, including:

Full-rear glass 

When the view is the focus, full-rear glass gives an unparalleled experience. With panoramic views on either side and plentiful natural light, pairing the full-frontal glass with full-rear glass is the optimal choice to get as close to nature as possible – while staying protected from the elements.

Side windows

But glass isn’t constrained to the front and back. We also offer a variety of window configurations in every DROP Structure that allows you to pick and choose the views you want to emphasize.

Skylights

Whether you want to fall asleep to stars and moonlight, or you simply love to let every ounce of that natural light shine in, skylights will transform your space – both day and night.

Accordion door

Limited to the Alpha (unless specifically requested) the glass accordion door creates that same feeling of spaceas the full-front glass does in the Mono. Whether you want to preserve your views, maximize your light, or just embrace an indoor/outdoor experience, the accordion door is ther perfect way to brighten your work days.

After designing the Mono, we quickly came to realize its space was too big for some, yet too small for others.

Our latest line-up covers a wide range of building sizes, from offices to plumbed cabins. But even with our range of options, feedback from our clients led us to offer short extensions for each of our units. These finer gradations allow our clients to precisely fit their DROP Structure to their desires. 

Combined with extensions, our range of sizes allows each and every client to tailor-fit their DROP Structure to fit their space and ambitions.
