Drop Structures is based in Lethbridge, Alberta and serve all of North America.

This is a great question with many fluid answers.
Provinces, States and Local Jurisdictions are recognising the quick evolution of modular building.
Generally speaking, structures under 107 sq/ft (Canada) 120 sq/ft (USA) detached from primary dwellings do not usually require permits.
If you're considering a Duo or a Holo with a bathroom then you will likely need a permit of some kind.
We insist that no matter the structure you are purchasing, you inform the local jurisdiction and confirm permit requirements.

We offer a white glove shipping service for all Drop Structures.
Each unit is delivered completely finished, ready for plug and play via truck and trailer.
At least one of our experienced team will be on site to work with local contractors or the crane company.
To help reduce shipping costs and the amount of time our drivers are on the road, we will make every effort to pair deliveries.
Shipping prices are fully inclusive of import fees, fuel, accommodation etc. Our trucks can travel 800kms per day.
Please keep in mind that you will need to arrange for the appropriate equipment to unload/move your DROP Structure into place, ie: Crane, Telehandler, Skid Steer(s), Fork Lift, etc.
-
Typically, we request you have a concrete slab on grade or helical screw pile configuration.
Our sales process is very hands on and we'll request information or pictures for where you plan to put your Drop Structure so our draftsman can design this for you and provide construction drawings.
-
Absolutely! Our structures use a couple of insulation methods to ensure we keep you nice and warm.
A simple low wattage, plug in wall heater keeps the space toasty. (This is included with most models)
Our windows are also top of the range from the awesome team at LUX Windows. Every window and door is custom made to order.

We have designed each of our base models to provide great airflow during the summer months.
On those really hot days then each unit can be prepared for AC.
A drawing will be provided to allow your local HVAC team to safely install without hitting any trusses or electrical.
Due to travel restrictions, AC cannot be pre-installed.
-
Absolutley! We work with FinanceIt in Canada and Lightstream in America.

Our core product has been in development for years. We are happy to admit we have been learning as time has passed so there have been iterations of the same product as we have evolved.
